Logitech's G27 racing wheel was created for the sake of all PS3 and PC sim racing game players searching for a force feedback wheel, which includes a gear stick and a clutch pedal.
The 11-inch-wide, hand-stitched-leather-covered Logitech G27 racing wheel allows for a 900-degree rotation, i.e. 2.5 full turns lock to lock.
A total of 14 programmable buttons are available (6 - on the wheel itself, and 8 - on the external gearshift unit), plus a D-pad.

Not one, but two gear-driven force feedback motors ensure a highly realistic road feel.
The G27 wheel uses helical gears, which allow for near-silent operation. You can change gears using a 6-speed, H-pattern gear shifter, which is detached from the wheel platform, or via two paddle shifters mounted on the steering column.
RPM/shift indicator LEDs let you know when it's time to change gears. The Logitech G27 also features a pedal set, which includes stainless-steel clutch, gas and brake pedals and a footrest.

Unlike most racing wheels on the market, the Logitech G27 wheel does feature an external gearshift module, which naturally requires its own mounting point. The fully adjustable OpenWheeler+ gaming seat sports a special gear shifter mount developed just for that purpose. The Logitech G27 wheel itself will fit ideally into OpenWheeler+'s chassis, and so will the pedal set coming with it. If you combine your Logitech G27 wheel with the OpenWheeler+ seat, you will get a full-blown driving simulator in its own right, so step off your desk or couch and plunge straight into the cockpit!
