The 30-cm-wide Thrustmaster T500 RS is the official Gran Turismo 5 racing wheel. As such, it sports all standard PlayStation 3 game controller buttons. The T500 RS will work great with your PC racing simulation games as well. The wheel employs a high-precision, contactless magnetic sensing technology and allows for an unearthly 1080-degree rotation (three full turns lock to lock). A powerful, 65-watt industrial motor will turn your notions of realistic force feedback effects upside down! On top of that, the T500 RS features an adjustable clutch pedal - for an even more realistic driving simulation experience! You can up- and downshift via two static sequential shift paddles.

If, on the other hand, you’d like to know how the Formula 1 paddocks look like from inside the cockpit of an F1 car, you can take advantage of another T500 RS add-on - namely of Thrustmaster’s 28-cm-wide, Ferrari-licensed, PS3 & PC-compatible Ferrari F1 wheel. Being a replica of the Formula 1 Ferrari 2011 racing wheel, it is equipped with F1-style speed shifters, switches and knobs, which will allow you to adapt your car to the specificities of the track. The T500 RS and Ferrari F1 wheels are removable and fully interchangeable. They share a common wheel base and you can replace the T500 RS wheel with the Ferrari F1 wheel and vice versa in a matter of seconds. And, based on whether you’d like to be a GT or an F1 car driver, you can even choose between two pedal positions: suspended (like in a GT car) and floor-mounted (like in an F1 car)!
